You can update, correct, or modify your details in Aadhaar Card like Name, Address, Mobile Number, Email Id, or your photograph by visiting nearby Head Post Office in your Village or City. Special Aadhar Team has been deployed for this work at the General Post Office Department. UIDAI has entered into memorandum of understanding with India Post to correct, modify, or update Aadhaar on furnishing mandatory proof of documents. Aadhaar Correction at Head Post Office will help common man to save money and time. This service will cost very less as compared to services which was provided by private agents. Currently private agents charge upto Rs.300/- but this step will bring down it to Rs.25/- to Rs.30/-. And further there will be no fluctuations in fees.

State Bank of India Sends SMS to Customers to Link Aadhaar with Bank Account by July

There are various cases where SBI bank account holders are receiving SMS from State Bank of India saying to link Aadhaar Number with Bank Account by July 2017 or else they will block their bank account in real the SMS was like "Kindly furnish your Aadhaar no along with copy of the Aadhaar card to seed to your SBI account. Please ensure seeding before 31.07.2017. In case of non-compliance, your account is liable to be blocked. Ignore if already seeded." By seeing such SMS, SBI Bank Account holders are shocked as most of the people don't have Aadhaar Card Still and if they don't furnish their Aadhaar to Bank their Accounts will get blocked in SBI Bank. Official Aadhaar App "mAadhaar" now available for Android

UIDAI has launched official Aadhaar App named "mAadhaar", as of now it can be downloaded on Android Platform from Google Play Store. This App mAadhaar has been released as a Digital India initiative, this app is developed by UIDAI which includes demographic information like name, date of birth, gender and address along with the user's photograph and is linked with one's Aadhaar number. Aadhaar Card Mandatory to get APSRTC Navya Cards

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Srikakulam officially launched Aadhaar Card Linking Services for Issuing Navya Cards. There will be no need to furnish photographs to get Navya Cards as it will take the photograph linked in Aadhaar Database. Whose Cards are lapsed would get them new concessional cards by paying Rs.150/- instead of Rs.250/-. Whereas Navya Cards gives 10% concession to customers. Aadhaar is gaining its importance day by day and residents those who have not enrolled for Aadhaar are now running out at the Aadhaar Centers to get enrolled for Aadhaar to avail various services. So once again Government of India has took a huge step towards Aadhaar Importance, by making Aadhaar Card mandatory to get Dues from Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) within 5 days. With this latest step taken by Government the employee will have to submit 3 forms which will be Form 19 which will be of withdrawing benefits, Form 10C which will be of pension related matters and Form 31 which will be for partial withdrawal of PF amount. Get Ration with OTP System [Aadhaar Linked to Ration]

Most of the Ration Cards of Residents are linked with Aadhaar, so the State Food and Civil Supplies Department will soon launch One Time Password System to get Ration in Karnataka. With the existing IVRS line of 161 the OTP option will be added for ration card holders to provide basic phone users to get ration on their mobile. Aadhar Enrollment will be done at Govt. Premises and Private Agencies Withdrawn

Since Inception of Aadhar, Government was allowing private agencies to set up their Aadhar Enrolment Centers to Enroll Residents for Aadhar Card. The Private Agencies was equipped with fingerprint scanner, iris scanner, camera, laptop, printers and other devices to issue Aadhar Card. Income Tax Department Introduces Form to link Aadhaar with PAN Card

Income Tax Department has said that PAN Cards will not get cancelled in case if the individuals don't have Aadhaar or Aadhaar Enrolment ID. Income Tax Department had also introduced one page form which allowed users to link their Aadhaar Number with PAN Card in an ease, apart from this there was also SMS facility launched which allowed individuals to link their Aadhaar Number with PAN.
