State Bank of India Sends SMS to Customers to Link Aadhaar with Bank Account by July

There are various cases where SBI bank account holders are receiving SMS from State Bank of India saying to link Aadhaar Number with Bank Account by July 2017 or else they will block their bank account in real the SMS was like "Kindly furnish your Aadhaar no along with copy of the Aadhaar card to seed to your SBI account. Please ensure seeding before 31.07.2017.

In case of non-compliance, your account is liable to be blocked. Ignore if already seeded." By seeing such SMS, SBI Bank Account holders are shocked as most of the people don't have Aadhaar Card Still and if they don't furnish their Aadhaar to Bank their Accounts will get blocked in SBI Bank. On asking about this to SBI Officials they said no such July deadline has been made to seed Aadhaar with Bank Account, and they stated the last day to link Aadhaar with Bank Account will be 31st December 2017.

Another SBI Bank Account holder received SMS from SBI saying "Kindly furnish your Aadhaar no along with copy of the Aadhaar card to seed to your SBI account. Please ensure seeding before 30th April 2017. In case of non-compliance, your account is liable to be blocked. Ignore if already seeded." the account holder complained the due date was also passed and he has received the SMS in July. So this seems there is some bug in SBI SMS Sending System.

Some of the customers have also received SMS to link Aadhaar to Bank Account without mentioning the deadline.
