Aadhaar Card Mandatory for Kerosene Subsidy and Pension

Aadhaar is now mandatory to produce for getting government subsidy on purchase of kerosene and to take benefits if Atal Pension Yojana. Those who wants to avail kerosene subsidy or who are contributing towards pension scheme will now have to produce Aadhaar Number. Those people who still don't have Aadhaar Card, will have to enroll them self for Aadhaar to avail the benefits. Last date for submission of Aadhaar Number to avail Kerosene Subsidy is 30th September. And the last date given for Atal Pension Yojana is 15th June. To receive the cash transfer benefit directly into your bank account it is also mandatory to get your Aadhaar Number Seeded with Ration Card issued to household. The Ministry of Oil and Natural Gas has introduced DBT through which the subsidy amount is directly transferred to bank account of the beneficiaries who purchase the PDS Kerosene.
