Get Ration with OTP System [Aadhaar Linked to Ration]

Most of the Ration Cards of Residents are linked with Aadhaar, so the State Food and Civil Supplies Department will soon launch One Time Password System to get Ration in Karnataka.

With the existing IVRS line of 161 the OTP option will be added for ration card holders to provide basic phone users to get ration on their mobile.

The OTP will have to furnish to the PDS Shop Manager, he will enter that OTP in his POS to give ration to the card holder.

How this OTP Ration System Works?

Any Ration Card Holder who has access to mobile phone can call the IVRS to find the information on assigned ration against the name.

The Cardholder will have to enter his Aadhaar Number to verify the details and once the details are verified you will receive one time password on your registered mobile number of the Aadhaar Card Holder.

The same OTP will have to provide to the PDS Shop Manager to take the ration.

The POS will also generate automatic receipt containing how much ration has been allocated to the card holder.
