The Revenue Department of Uttar Pradesh are preparing to link farmers land records with their Aadhaar Card Number. By linking farmers land records with Aadhaar and Mobile Number will go online digital and will contribute to digital India. Those step by Government will bring transparency in the plots owned by the farmers and will also eliminate the cases of land grab. Land Records in UP has been almost bought online. The centre has posted letters to state and union territories to digitize the land records present. The Government of India will make linking 12 digit Aadhaar Number with Land Records under the initiative Digital India Land Records Modernization Program (DILRMP).
