- To link your Aadhaar Number with your India Post Account visit nearest India Post Home Branch with your Aadhaar Card Copy and Bank Passbook.
- Take Aadhaar linking Form from the branch, fill up the form by entering your correct details.
- Enclose your copy of Aadhaar Card to the form, and submit it to the branch.
- You will be provided an acknowledgement confirming your request to link Aadhaar Card with India Post Account.
- Once bank process your application you will get notified via your registered mobile number through SMS.
- SWIPE YOUR ATM/DEBIT CARD IN India Post ATM AND AUTHENTICATE WITH PIN
- Go to “OTHER SERVICES” AND SELECT “AADHAAR SEEDING”
- ENTER YOUR 12 DIGIT AADHAAR NUMBER
- Accept Terms and Click on Submit
- Acknowledgment SLIP seeding request will be printed.
- Customer has to login to Internet Banking using his/her User ID and Password.
- Click on the link in the home page “Registration of Aadhaar Number in Internet Banking “.
- Enter and confirm the 12 digit Aadhaar number in the respective fields.
- Select the Savings account for which Aadhaar number is to be linked.
- To know the status about Linking and Rejection of Aadhaar number click on "Inquiry"
- As of now linking Aadhaar with India Post through SMS facility is not available, so you can try other above alternative options to get your Aadhaar Number linked to your India Post Account.
