How to Link Aadhaar with Karnataka Bank Account

Government of India is issuing Aadhar /Unique Identification (UID) number to all Indian residents through Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). All Government benefits will now be routed through the bank account that is linked to Aadhar / UID number.

How to Link Aadhaar with Karnataka Bank Account through Karnataka Bank Branch
  • To link your Aadhaar Number with your Karnataka Bank Account visit nearest Karnataka Bank Home Branch with your Aadhaar Card Copy and Bank Passbook.
  • Take Aadhaar linking Form from the branch, fill up the form by entering your correct details.
  • Enclose your copy of Aadhaar Card to the form, and submit it to the branch.
  • You will be provided an acknowledgement confirming your request to link Aadhaar Card with Karnataka Bank Account.
  • Once bank process your application you will get notified via your registered mobile number through SMS.
How to Link Aadhaar with Karnataka Bank Account through Karnataka Bank ATM
  • SWIPE YOUR ATM/DEBIT CARD IN Karnataka Bank ATM AND AUTHENTICATE WITH PIN
  • Go to “OTHER SERVICES” AND SELECT “AADHAAR SEEDING”
  • ENTER YOUR 12 DIGIT AADHAAR NUMBER
  • Accept Terms and Click on Submit
  • Acknowledgment SLIP seeding request will be printed.
  • Note: Seeding Request will be processed by Bank subject to satisfactory verification of AADHAAR credential.

How to Link Aadhaar with Karnataka Bank Account through Karnataka Bank Internet Banking
  • Customer has to login to Internet Banking using his/her User ID and Password.
  • Click on the link in the home page "Registration of Aadhaar Number in Internet Banking". 
  • Enter and confirm the 12 digit Aadhaar number in the respective fields.
  • Select the Savings account for which Aadhaar number is to be linked.
  • To know the status about Linking and Rejection of Aadhaar number click on "Inquiry"
How to Link Aadhaar with Karnataka Bank Account through SMS
  • This facility is enabled only for Karnataka Bank customers registered for mobile alerts.
  • Customer has to send an SMS to the 7065288111 the AADHAAR request as per below format from Registered Mobile Number. The syntax for sending the SMS is given below: 
  • AR Aadhar number
  • On Successful Updation of Aadhar number in the Customer account, Bank will send a reply SMS to customer Mobile Number as below.

    • SMS Template: Dear Customer, your aadhar seeding request is under process. You will get success / failure confirmation by SMS in next 24 hours. –, Thank you. KBL. 
    Link Aadhaar with Karnataka Bank Account Success
      • After processing the seeding request with UIDAI, customer will get SMS as Success.
      • SMS Template: On Success: Aadhar Number Ending with XXXX seeding was successful in your account – Karnataka Bank (date and time) 
      Link Aadhaar with Karnataka Bank Account Un-Successful
        • SMS Template: On Failure: Aadhar Number Ending with XXXX seeding was failed during Demographic authentication. Please visit branch to seed the aadhar number – Karnataka Bank (date and time)
