How to Link Aadhar with MTS Connection

Whether you have MTS Mobile Number or Data Connection, if both of these connections are not linked with Aadhaar Number by February 2018 it would get likely deactivated. The Only possible way to use MTS Service uninterrupted even after February 2018 is by linking it with Aadhar Number.

Linking Aadhar with MTS Connection is very simple process, the only catch in it is the subscriber have to physically present at the Store or Retailer for Aadhar eKYC Re-verification. This process of linking Aadhar with MTS Connection cannot be completed online in any way, you will have to visit the store to get it linked.

Process on How to Link Aadhar with MTS Connection
  • To complete Aadhar Re-verification by linking Aadhar with MTS Mobile Number or DataCard you will have to visit nearby MTS Store or Retailer Store with your Aadhar Card.
  • Inform the store person that you want to complete Aadhar Re-verification with your MTS Connection.
  • You will be asked your 10 digit MTS Number and 12 digit Aadhaar Number or UID Number.
  • On your mobile number you will receive OTP, just provide that OTP to the store person.
  • Once this is completed your biometric thumb impression will be requested for confirmation.
  • Once this is authenticated successfully you have finished with linking your Aadhar with MTS Connection.
  • This process for Aadhaar Re-verification with MTS Mobile Number is free of cost you will not be charged a single rupee. Customers who are in roaming will need to get the Aadhaar verified in their respective home circle.
If you have done biometric (given finger prints) along with Aadhaar at the time of taking connection, you do not have to do this activity again. But If Aadhaar was given only as an identity or address proof and no biometric was done, please visit your nearest MTS retailer to complete the process.
