When you change your job, Provident Fund (PF) Account will be transferred to your new office. So this will relieve the hassles to transfer your Provident Fund Account when job is changed.

Currently to transfer PF Account to new place you would have to file application forms, but now this process would be automatically completed if you have Aadhaar Number.

If 12 digit-Aadhaar Number is verified and linked with Provident Fund Account then the account will be eligible to get transferred automatically on job change throughout the country without any application. If an employee changes job his PF Account will be transferred without giving any application in three days.

One of the major reason behind this step auto transferred of provident fund account on job switch was premature closing of accounts by employees. PF Account Money should be withdrawn for major purposes like housing, education of children or serious hospitalization.
