This step by The Road Transport Authority will help to eliminate issuance of multiple driving license to a single person, also it will help to suspend fake licenses. The biometric data present in Aadhaar Database will also help the traffic police to stop the various illegal activities like misusing of license by anti-social elements and terrorist elements.

The officials has also said Aadhaar Card will serve as a single document that would establish the applicant’s identity. Making Aadhaar Mandatory will help to control the administrative in better way and it will also enable transparency.
