Within a time span of 1 year all mobile numbers should be linked to Aadhaar Number and those who skip this will get their connections disconnected. So in case if you are outstation customer and want to link your Aadhaar Number with your SIM, than Telecom Company will re-verify your address in two ways and they are:

By regenerating earlier CAF form: Telecom operator can re-verify the existing customer by re-generating the customer earlier CAF form, which will return a home address. This will be declared as completion of re-verification and the customer will not require to provide any local reference document.

By means of local reference: In case if the CAF form fails to return an address or says wrong address, telecom can request existing customer to provide a local reference for revivification even though providing Aadhaar.
