Aadhaar will be soon mandatory to Book Domestic Flight Tickets

In coming days Aadhaar Card will be mandatory to be produced by Air Travelers while domestic travel. By using Aadhaar Card as ID while booking ticket will enable to avail paperless and seamless travel experience.

Once the Traveler books their tickets providing their Aadhaar Card, the unique id along with PNR will provide all information and will serve as a digital boarding pass.

Traveler who have provided their Aadhaar Number while booking their tickets will have to complete the biometric verification like fingerprint scan or iris at the airport. However those who share other forms of ID like PAN Card or Passport will be provided with a QR Code on their mobile which will be scanned at the airport.

Traveler providing other form of ID other than Aadhaar will have to collect their boarding passes and their will not be able to enjoy hassle free travel and digital system.
