Aadhaar Card Mandatory for e-Rickshaw Subsidy

Registered e-Rickshaw owners of Delhi will be given subsidy of Rs.30,000/- after linking Aadhaar Details, this notice has been issued by Delhi Government.

This step will prevent duplicity in granting financial assistance. Delhi Government made Aadhaar Details to be furnished mandatory for those who are seeking subsidy on e-Rickshaws registered in Delhi, after providing 12 digit Aadhaar Number only the registered e-rickshaw owners will be issued a subsidy of Rs.30,000/-.

Registered e-Rickshaw owners whose subsidy claims are in pending state will not have to furnish photocopies of Aadhaar Card and Registration certificate at the office of Motor Licensing Officers (MLO). The claim will be rejected in case if the e-Rickshaw owner has not furnished registration certificate and Aadhaar Card Photocopy by the due date.
