Aadhaar Privacy Questioned After MS Dhoni's Aadhaar Details Leaked Online

Recently former cricket captain MS Dhoni's Aadhaar Details were leaked online by Aadhaar Enrolment Agency Operator. The Aadhaar Operator had tweeted on twitter the screenshot of MS Dhoni's Aadhaar Enrolment page which made personal details of MS Dhoni to leak online. However the Aadhaar Enrolment Agency Operator has tweeted MS Dhoni's details due to fan moment stating he had prepared Aadhaar of MS Dhoni. But after this incident the question is arising when former cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s are leaked like this, Is Indian Citizens private information safe? MS Dhoni's Wife Sakshi Dhoni tweeted this incident to Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad but in reply he tweeted "Aadhaar Is Full Secure, As far as I know, no personal information has been leaked but I have still assured his wife that we will take full care that no personal information is leaked". PAN could go invalid if not linked with Aadhaar Number

PAN Card (Permanent Account Number) could go invalid if it is not linked with Aadhaar Number by 31st December. This step has been taken by government because there are many PAN Cards which are obtained fraudulently and this can be easily checked by linking UID (Aadhaar Number). Currently PAN Card is mandatory for all taxpayers to file income tax return but other people like students, or people outside tax bracket still uses this PAN Card as proof of identity document. As of now 98% of Indian Adult Population holds Aadhaar Card and the time-frame till 31st December is more than enough to link PAN Card with Aadhaar. Aadhaar Card mandatory for Mid-day Meals

Recently Congress member K.C. Venugopal recommend the government in the Lok Sabha not to make Aadhaar Card compulsory for students to avail Mid-day Meals. Also in Lok Sabha the issue was highlighted of quality of rice and no proper space for serving food. So due to such situations the Ministry of Human Resource Development announced that all cooks and helpers working under mid-day meal scheme and also student s will have to produce Aadhaar Card. As of now there are 12 crore children’s has been enrolled under Aadhaar Card. Mid-day meal Scheme was been introduced to increase enrolments and attendance of primary education.
