Life Insurance Corporation of India has shared a notification on all their social platforms as well as through various medium cautioning Policyholders not to link their Aadhaar Number through SMS. Fact: Aadhaar enrolment is done through registrars, which are credible institutions like state government, banks, Common Service Centres (CSCs) which employ enrolment agencies empanelled by UIDAI.
